This set brings together the essential A-STAND colors for recreating the distinctive heat-discolored metallic effects found on exhaust pipes, jet exhaust nozzles, engines, gun barrels, exhaust manifolds, and other metal components exposed to extreme temperatures.
The range includes Burnt Iron and Pale Burnt Metal, two metallic finishes that provide the ideal foundation for representing heat-affected steel and other metals. The set is completed with the transparent Hot Metal Blue, Hot Metal Sepia, and Hot Metal Burnt Carbon, each specially formulated to reproduce the blue, brown, and darkened hues and patina that develop on metal surfaces after prolonged exposure to heat. Applied individually or in successive layers, these transparent colors allow you to create subtle tonal transitions and highly realistic heat-stained metal effects.
Ideal for aircraft, automotive, military, and motorcycle models, this set is equally well suited to sci-fi and mecha subjects. This set is perfect for finishing jet nozzles, thrusters, boosters, plasma weapons, engine blocks, mechanical joints, and other exposed metallic components on Gundam kits, robots, spacecraft, and futuristic vehicles.
All products are formulated for airbrush application and can be thinned and cleaned with A-STAND Thinner & Cleaner.
